Everybody has a trick or tip, but why do some people age successfully and others do not? I believe aging well is complicated and requires a complicated model. This is why I developed this model “5 Pillars to Wellness” after speaking with thousands of people. I built this model off of all the aspects where I found people to typically be deficient.

- Drink water
- Minimum of 4 glasses of 12oz
- Listen to your body
- Eat vegetables
- 3-6 cups of vegetables per day
- Sleep 7-9 hours/ night
- Take a Nap!
- But Don’t Take Too Many Naps!
- Do you consistently nap several times throughout the day? You might not be sleeping well
- Anticholinergics can limit your REM (Rapid Eye Movement) Cycle
- Unisom, Benadryl, tylenol PM
- Lack of soft palate tone
- Lack of SPO2 (blood oxygenation)
- Can cause snoring and stress to the body
- You may benefit from a sleep study!

- You cannot be both independent and alone as you age
